The #IMEXpitch enables event technology start-ups to showcase their products to an audience of event professionals at no cost, while audience members have the opportunity to learn about new event technology products.
The team of judges select five finalists who will compete in a live head-to-head five minute long pitch competition at IMEX.
This final pitches are part of the IMEX education program and takes place at the Inspiration Hub. A judging panel composed by event technology industry experts awards the prize on the day in front of a live audience of up to 60 attendees who also cast a public vote (with no prize).
The winning product receives a free of charge exhibition space on the Technology Pavilion at IMEX the following year in addition to media coverage on IMEX's various media and PR channels.
Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, 15 March 2017 at 17:00 and the finalists will be announced on Monday, 27 March 2017 and notified via email.
* Please note that we limit the #IMEXpitch to event technology startups which we define as companies creating event technology products that have been released to the market for under 2 years.

The judges are all individuals who work with event technology on a daily basis and are always exploring the latest developments. The judges are part of both the shortlisting selection process and will be on site at the #IMEXpitch final at IMEX to select the winner.
