BestCities Welcomes New Partner The BestCities Global Alliance, an international collaborative of convention bureaux, will announce its newest partner at IMEX Frankfurt. BestCities is the first global alliance to develop a certification program to ensure a consistent level of service excellence and quality standards from all partner cities— Berlin, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Dubai, Edinburgh, Houston, Melbourne, Singapore and Vancouver. This new city will bring the "power of ten" international convention bureaux to the BestCities Alliance.

Atout France and Partners Press Conference
Atout France and partners Provence-Riviera Côte d´Azur, Nantes and Angers will highlight the latest MICE industry figures, along with key initiatives for attracting major events. The Convention Bureau of the Provence-Alps Côte d´Azur Region will focus especially on the most important changes within Marseille, Antibes, Cannes and Nice. Nantes elected European Green Capital 2013 will present the “Nantes- Saint Nazaire metropole”, and its infrastructure such as the congress center “Cité Nantes Events Center”. The destination will also emphasise the welcome charter for hosting more congresses and events. Angers will highlight its “Made in Angers” initiatives. |

Oneworld Airline Alliance Enters Events and Conference Travel Market
During this media briefing senior executives from oneworld, the leading quality global airline alliance, and its member airlines will announce the plans of a new one-stop solution for global event, conference and convention travel needs, offering attractive discounts on regular air fares. Oneworld’s member airlines currently include airberlin, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Royal Jordanian and S7 Airlines.
