| October 2009: Meetings mean success |
| With the launch last week of IMEX America, the IMEX Group has entered an exciting new phase. The new show will take place in Las Vegas from 11-13 October and will continue the IMEX commitment to delivering business opportunities, international hosted buyer programmes and industry-wide collaboration. At the same time IMEX 2010 continues to focus very clearly on delivering more business for its exhibitors and making the process of doing such business as smooth, fast and efficient as possible all year round. | July 2009: Business follows IMEX |
| This year’s IMEX was delivered following one of the most uncertain periods in global economic history. Nevertheless, the international meetings, incentive travel and events industry is nothing if not resilient, pragmatic and inherently optimistic. And this was reflected in a strong desire to get down to business and see a return on investment coupled with a widespread belief that business opportunities were still in good supply. | IMEX visitors and exhibitors were in a buoyant business mood at the third IMEX this April, which was the largest and busiest to date. 7,130 visitors attended, including a record number of 3,260 hosted buyers – a 15% increase on last year – from 57 world markets. |

| October 2004: All round expansion |
| All round expansion continues to be the defining characteristic of IMEX. Now in its third year, the show itself is forecast to grow to 15,000 square metres in display area, and will take advantage of what is the largest single-floor trade fair hall in Frankfurt. Almost two thirds of those already contracted have opted to increase the size of their stand against last year with the average increase in stand size now at 34%. |

| July 2004: More buyers, more countries |
| This year's IMEX attracted 2,832 hosted buyers from 56 countries, alongside over 3,000 buyers from the German outbound market, leading to a total buyer number of 6,221. Forecasts for IMEX 2005 have already been set at 3,000 hosted international buyers, with a large proportion of the expansion coming from the key long-haul buyer markets. |
