Sustainability Hub
Stand G204
The Sustainability Hub is 'Powered by GMIC' (the Green Meeting Industry Council). The Council was formed to improve meeting management practices by promoting environmentally responsible strategies through the collaborative efforts of the hospitality industry, corporations, government and community organisations. The Sustainability Hub provides both exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to increase their awareness and knowledge of both environmental and social responsibility. The Hub offers expert advice, tool kits and case studies and is built from environmentally responsible stand materials by fairservices.net. The Estoril Congress Centre provides the fantastic 'green' furniture made from recycled materials. |

Education and Campfires at the Sustainability Hub

The Sustainability Hub together with the Green Meeting Industry Council will host several environmental seminars. These are a series of drop-in workshops that run throughout the day at the show. They include case studies from previous award winners and ‘how to go green’ sessions with advice about where and how to start, as well as information on more advanced green policies and practices.
New this year campfire sessions will run on the Sustainability Hub. Campfires are educational sessions designed for small groups of up to 10 people to encourage maximum interaction between the speaker and the group. See the full seminar programme here
